Christine C. Mitchell, Director of Marketing, is responsible for the marketing budget, product pricing and releases,
definition and implementation of the corporate marketing strategic plan, management of all marketing efforts including
branding, advertising, internal and external marketing communications and website design. She is also responsible for
the creation of customer satisfaction surveys, retention and acquisition programs and the delivery of professional
presentations to physician groups, specialty groups, clients and prospects.
Background
Mrs. Mitchell is a small business owner with over 20 years of business development, and marketing expertise. She
was part of the launch team that successfully started Grande Communications in 7 different cities with her role
including: creating and implementing the company brand and messaging; strategic and marketing planning; retention,
upgrade and acquisition programs; product development, pricing and positioning; marketing and advertising programs;
business acquisition and development; customer needs assessment; competitive market positioning; account development
and retention; client services management; program and staff development; large scale event planning and execution;
and internal and external promotions. As a Director of Advertising she was responsible for a $1.5 million annual
marketing budget, 4 staff, 15 agencies and hundreds of projects. She generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in
revenue and thousands of new customers. Prior to Grande, Mrs. Mitchell worked as a Freelance Production Supervisor
in the Feature Film business managing budgets in excess of $150 million and teams as large as 300 people. It was
her core responsibility to ensure that each day was completed on time and on budget. Films include: Pearl Harbor-Mexico unit,
Coyote Ugly, Hope Floats, One Fine Day, Nixon, Batman Forever, and Batman Returns.
Mrs. Mitchell serves on the Board of Directors for Advocate, MD Insurance of the Southwest Inc., is the Chair for
Make-A-Wish Advancement and Outreach Council in Austin, Advisory Board member on 3 unique healthcare boards, wish
granter, avid volunteer for 7 charities and a member of American Marketing Association, Association for Women In
Communication, Metropolitan Breakfast Club, Social Media Club and American Sailing Association.
Mrs. Mitchell graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Loyola Marymount University. She is actively involved
in 5 associations and 3 non-profit organizations including Make-A-Wish. She is the chair for the Make-A-Wish Advancement
and Outreach Council, sits on the Development and Program Committees, and is an active Wish Granter. Mrs. Mitchell
holds a general lines agent property and casualty license in Texas and Mississippi.
