Christine Mitchell joined Advocate, MD in 2007 and is responsible for project management, marketing budget, product pricing and releases, definition and implementation of the corporate marketing strategic plan, and the management of all marketing efforts including branding, advertising, communications, tradeshows, association relationships, Platinum Partner Program and website design. She is also responsible for the creation of customer satisfaction surveys, retention and acquisition programs and the delivery of professional presentations.

Background

Mrs. Mitchell is a small business owner with over 20 years of project management, business development, and marketing expertise. As a Director of Advertising for Grande Communications she was responsible for a $1.5 million annual marketing budget, 4 staff, 15 agencies and hundreds of projects. Her role included: launching the retail division of the company, project management, creating and managing the company brand and messaging; strategic planning; retention, upgrade and acquisition programs; product development, pricing and positioning; marketing and advertising programs; business acquisition and development; customer needs assessment; competitive market positioning; account and staff development; large scale event planning; and promotions.  Prior to Grande, Mrs. Mitchell worked as a Freelance Production Supervisor where she project managed Feature Films including: budgeting ($150k+), staffing (300+), vendor purchases and leases, studio communications, and day to day operations.

Mrs. Mitchell serves as an Advisory Board member on a healthcare board, is a Austin Regional Board member of the central and south Texas Make-A-Wish Foundation,  wish granter, avid volunteer for 5 charities and a member of American Marketing Association, Association for Women In Communication, Metropolitan Breakfast Club, Social Media Club and American Sailing Association.

Mrs. Mitchell graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Loyola Marymount University. Mrs. Mitchell is PMP certified and holds a general lines agent property and casualty license in Texas and Mississippi and is currently working on her PMP certification.
