Mr. Adams is the founder of the Company and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for the strategic development and expansion of the Company, consolidated financial performance of the business, organizational development and the day-to-day strategic leadership of the business. Mr. Adams also serves as President of Advocate, MD Insurance of the Southwest Inc.

Background

Mr. Adams began his career with Xerox in 1985 where he established himself as a top sales producer before leaving to join Johnson & Johnson to specialize in surgical sales to physicians. In 1988, Mr. Adams joined Bostik, Inc., a $1.1 billion global manufacturing company. Over the next 12 years, Mr. Adams served in a variety of executive management positions including senior sales management and strategic business management roles for Bostik's worldwide markets in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe. In 1997, Mr. Adams was appointed Global Sales Director and served as General Manager of Bostik's Joint Venture Company based in Osaka, Japan. As Global Sales Director, Mr. Adams managed the Worldwide Sales Team, Customer Service Team and International Support Team and was responsible for $168 million in revenue.

In 2000, Mr. Adams purchased a minority ownership interest in a large U.S. industrial distributorship. There as Vice President and General Manager, he led the company to achieve 70% growth in sales and a 100% growth in net income from 2000 to 2003.

In 2003, Mr. Adams founded Advocate, MD.

Mr. Adams is a serial entrepreneur and visionary who is also the founder or co-founder of several other successful companies, all in operation today. These companies are comprised of three insurance companies including national employee benefits company, three restaurant companies, including the national restaurant chain Mama Fu's, a commodities trading company, and a global functional beverage company.

Mr. Adams holds a B.B.A. Degree in Marketing from Texas State University and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of seven organizations including Public (NASDAQ), Private, and non-profit corporations.
